Electrical Maintenance Engineer – PLC Machinery

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ensure reliable operation of PLC‑controlled machinery in our production facility. You will lead troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels, contactors, relays, timers, and sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to reduce unexpected breakdowns.
• Document all maintenance and repair actions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to resolve breakdowns efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance with machine control systems.
• Hands‑on experience with injection‑machine PLCs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing engineering or maintenance teams is a plus.
