Electrical Maintenance Intern

About the role

As an Electrical Maintenance Intern you will gain hands‑on experience in industrial electrical engineering within a manufacturing and distribution hub. You will support the management of electrical distribution assets, troubleshoot systems, and help implement preventive‑maintenance plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement process and follow the procurement plan together with the discipline owner.
• Update and control documentation such as single‑line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and functional block diagrams.
• Support CMMS (MAXIMO) data‑quality upgrades and asset registration.
• Contribute to the development of equipment spare‑parts databases for valves, control systems, analyzers, and LV/MV switchgear.
• Help create a second‑condition asset control system for electrical equipment, including trackers for spare and reconditioned motors.
• Collaborate with project teams on planned maintenance and turnaround activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
• Curiosity about heavy‑industrial electrical systems, safety standards and operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
• Experience using AI tools for planning, workflow enhancement or documentation.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms, preferably MAXIMO.
