Electro‑Mechanical Project Engineer – Water Treatment

About the role

Waterleau is seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Project Engineer to join its engineering team in Cairo. You will be responsible for delivering industrial water‑treatment installations worldwide, ensuring technical excellence from design through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review calculation sheets, hydraulic analyses and technical notes to guide the CAD department.
• Develop specifications for all equipment required for each project and create tender‑ready specification sheets.
• Review subcontractors' technical offers and finalize the purchase of installation components.
• Ensure the engineering final dossier is properly prepared, filed and that lessons learned are documented.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanics, Electro‑Mechanics, Chemistry or Bio‑Engineering.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, piping and appendages, and pumps.
• Experience with WWTP, WRP and/or WTP design, construction or operation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical strength calculation, electricity and civil construction works.
• Fluent in English or Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Team player, hands‑on attitude and ability to work under pressure.
