Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Irrigation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the execution and maintenance of irrigation networks across agricultural farms in Cairo. The role involves supervising contractors, reviewing designs, and ensuring efficient water delivery while meeting safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of water pipelines, irrigation lines, chambers and valves.
• Review irrigation network layouts, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities (BOQs).
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure work follows approved designs and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare and review quantity measurements, progress reports and cost tracking.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Recommend technical improvements to enhance network efficiency and reduce water losses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in irrigation networks, infrastructure or agricultural projects.
• Proven experience managing contractors and site activities.
• Willingness to work on agricultural sites and travel between locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
