ELV Design Engineer

About the role

Azizi Developments is expanding its operations to Egypt and is establishing a new creative and operational hub in New Cairo. The ELV Design Engineer will join the in‑house design studio to lead the design, coordination and supervision of extra‑low‑voltage systems for high‑rise residential and hospitality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and supervise ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling (Data/Voice), BMS, Intercom and SMATV.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP and BIM teams to ensure seamless integration of ELV solutions.
• Prepare design documentation, technical specifications, schematics and load calculations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards such as NFPA, BS and IEC.
• Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations and value‑engineering studies.
• Support tendering, evaluate ELV contractors and suppliers, and assist during construction and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of ELV design and engineering experience, with at least 3 years on high‑rise residential or hospitality projects.
• Previous experience in a design consultancy or developer‑led studio is preferred.
• Strong ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
