Engineering Project Manager – Capital Projects

About the role

Agrumaria Reggina is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead capital investment, engineering, utilities, and manufacturing projects from concept to commissioning. The role ensures safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery while meeting quality, food‑safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple CAPEX and engineering projects, defining strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Develop detailed scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for structured execution.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery from feasibility studies through commissioning, monitoring milestones and corrective actions.
• Serve as primary interface between internal functions and external partners, facilitating governance meetings.
• Prepare and monitor CAPEX budgets, ensuring strong ROI and financial discipline.
• Manage tendering, supplier evaluation, contractor performance, compliance, safety, and quality.
• Control risks, change, regulatory and sustainability compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of engineering and project management experience, including at least 3 years leading capital projects in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or Manufacturing.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, NEBOSH or OSHA are preferred.
