Enterprise Architect – Commercial

About the role

The Enterprise Architect – Commercial will shape the architectural direction for the Commercial domain, acting as a trusted advisor to align business strategy, operating models and technology. Reporting to the Enterprise Architecture team, you will translate commercial objectives into target architectures and road‑maps that enable sustainable, scalable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Enterprise Architecture vision and strategy for the Commercial domain.
• Define and maintain target architectures, transition road‑maps and ensure coherence across programs, products and platforms.
• Establish, communicate and enforce architecture principles, standards and governance.
• Provide architectural assurance for major initiatives, reducing risk and protecting investments.
• Advise senior stakeholders on trade‑offs, risks and opportunities related to commercial systems.
• Drive simplification, consistency and reuse across applications, data and processes.
• Collaborate with Agile and SAFe delivery teams to make architecture actionable and support effective execution.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organisations.
• Proven ability to operate at enterprise and executive level, influencing both business and IT decisions.
• Deep knowledge of the Commercial domain, including end‑to‑end processes and systems such as CRM, marketing technology, pricing and e‑Commerce platforms.
• Track record of designing and governing architectures that span multiple commercial applications.
