Factory Manager Assistant

About the role

The Factory Manager Assistant provides administrative support and operational coordination for the factory manager at Lesaffre Egypt. The role ensures smooth plant operations, maintains cleanliness standards, and manages relationships with service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative services and direct support to the Factory Manager.
• Maintain overall plant cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Organise disposal and proper handling of scrap materials.
• Supply uniforms to employees and ensure regular cleaning and upkeep.
• Manage multiple service providers, including cleaning, hazardous and non‑hazardous waste disposal, oil disposal, scrap disposal, uniform supply, and laundry services.
• Track service providers’ invoices, contracts, and performance.
• Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for the operations team.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Purchasing departments to facilitate operational needs.
• Develop and implement filing procedures and organisational systems.
• Arrange accommodation, catering, cleaning, security, and transportation for plant visitors and expatriates.
• Process expense reports for the Operations Director and plant management.
• Record minutes of director’s meetings and follow up on action plans.
• Prepare operational reports by collecting, analysing, and presenting data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, administration, or plant support.
• Familiarity with documentation control.
