Field Coordinator – Minia

About the role

The Field Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the Not Alone Program at the grassroots level across the Minia area. Acting as the main link between volunteer representatives and the Area Program Manager, the coordinator ensures program activities meet Coptic Orphans' quality standards and policy requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor activities, verify eligibility of volunteers and child participants, and provide orientation for new volunteers.
• Guide and coach volunteer representatives, offering performance feedback and capacity‑building support.
• Review and audit expense reports, perform financial spot‑checks, and report discrepancies.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly field reports covering activities, finances, and challenges.
• Assist in planning and coordinating events, training workshops, sponsor visits, and logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of program activities and handle administrative requests such as letters, photos, and family reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in field coordination, community development, or project tracking.
• Experience working with the Coptic community is an asset.
• Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel frequently (up to 80% of the time) within the assigned area.
