Finance Data Analyst – Power BI & Dynamics

About the role

Sana Commerce is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to turn financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. Working closely with FP&A, Professional Services, Customer Success and other business teams, you will own reporting, build and improve dashboards, and help make data trustworthy and easy to understand.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance and other functions.
• Deliver regular reporting on key metrics such as ARR, MRR, profitability, ROI and customer performance.
• Build and maintain data models using Power Query, integrating data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRM and billing platforms.
• Act as the technical owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within Finance, supporting system enhancements and data‑quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Customer Success and other departments to clarify reporting needs and explain KPIs.
• Provide ad‑hoc analyses and insights that drive business performance.
• Explore new technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot to streamline Finance workflows.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI and Power Query.
• Experience creating financial or operational reports.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Excellent analytical ability to translate complex data into business insights.
