Finance Manager – Manufacturing Costing & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our Finance & Costing team in Obour City, Cairo. The role focuses on product costing, budgeting, and financial reporting for a fast‑moving consumer goods manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance & Costing team, ensuring performance, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Oversee product costing for all SKUs, including standard/actual costing, BOM/recipe costing, and COGS.
• Analyze raw material, packaging, labor, utilities, and manufacturing overhead costs.
• Monitor cost variances, yield, wastage, production losses, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Prepare and review product profitability and gross margin analysis.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning processes.
• Monitor actual vs. budget vs. standard cost and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory valuation for raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Procurement to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion for costing, inventory, financial reporting, and controls.
• Ensure accurate monthly closing, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
• Provide management with financial insights to support pricing, product, sourcing, and operational decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 8–12 years of finance/accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in FMCG / Food / Snacks manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in manufacturing costing.
• Professional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, CPA are a plus.
