Financial Controller – Lead Finance Function

About the role

Martico Reefer Solutions is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function and support the company’s continued growth in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Manage audits, treasury activities, and financial analysis for senior management.
• Develop and mentor the finance team while driving process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with 3–5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Mandatory experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or transportation.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA is an advantage.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and internal controls.
