Finance Executive - Mixed Use Assets (East Cairo)

About the role

JLL is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive to support the financial operations of a premium mixed-use asset in Cairo, Egypt. The role keeps financial records accurate, processes transactions efficiently and supports the Finance Manager in delivering transparent, compliant financial reporting. It is an on-site position in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts payable: process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents against approved budgets, prepare payment instructions, maintain vendor master files and track outstanding payables
• Accounts receivable: support invoicing and receipting, process tenant payments, manage deposits and refunds, and support the collection team
• Record keeping and reconciliation: maintain general ledger accounts, reconcile transactions, prepare daily cash position reports and reconcile utility invoices and meter readings
• Reporting: assist with monthly management accounts, budget variance reports and cash flow forecasting, and provide data for internal and external audits
• Compliance: ensure VAT, e-invoicing and WHT compliance, support statutory filings and maintain audit trail documentation
• Coordinate with facilities management contractors, property, leasing and operations teams, and respond to internal queries

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate accounting, property management, finance or facilities management financial operations
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required
• Experience in Egypt or GCC property management preferred
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic preferred
• Preferably residing in East Cairo or around the area

Required skills

• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation
• Property management systems such as Yardi, Yarn or similar
• Understanding of Egyptian tax and compliance requirements (VAT, e-invoicing)
• Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint
