Fire Prevention & Protection Director

About the role

The Fire Prevention & Protection Director will lead the development and implementation of fire safety programs across COPACK’s facilities in 6th of October, Giza. This senior position ensures compliance with all relevant fire regulations and drives a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead fire prevention and protection programs and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international fire safety regulations.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire protection systems such as alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning, including evacuation procedures.
• Coordinate fire drills and safety training for employees.
• Investigate fire incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities, safety agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, resources, and fire safety teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in fire safety or protection roles.
• Strong knowledge of fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA).
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Professional certifications such as CFPS or NEBOSH Fire Safety are a plus.
