Food Safety and Compliance Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Food Safety and Compliance Lead to drive our food safety systems and quality culture at the 6 October manufacturing site. The role ensures that products, processes and manufacturing practices consistently meet Kraft Heinz standards, regulatory requirements and recognized certification schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain food safety and quality systems across the site, including HACCP reviews and food defense programs.
• Plan and execute internal audits, risk assessments, validation and verification activities.
• Support new product launches, line extensions and continuous improvement projects.
• Oversee compliance with external certifications (ISO 22000, GMP) and regulatory requirements.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions through gap analysis and risk assessment.
• Manage customer complaints, satisfaction processes and site documentation control.
• Deliver food safety and quality training to employees and promote a strong quality culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science or Agriculture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
