Freight Forwarder – Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Midas Furniture is seeking a full‑time Freight Forwarder to join its logistics team at the Smart Village office. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, both locally and internationally, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange forwarding and export services for all shipments.
• Prepare, review, and validate shipping documentation.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal teams and customers.
• Resolve transport and logistics issues promptly.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to optimise routing and maintain regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, preferably in retail or furniture.
• Ability to interpret shipping documents, contracts, and regulations with high accuracy.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or a related field is preferred.
