French Co-Teacher - French School (Immediate Hire)

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is hiring an enthusiastic and dedicated French Co-Teacher for its Madinaty Integrated Language School in New Cairo. The position suits a passionate educator who enjoys working with young learners and supporting their early French language development in a nurturing, playful classroom. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Support the French Teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities for Kindergarten students.
• Create a warm, safe and stimulating classroom that encourages learning through play and exploration.
• Help students develop basic French through songs, games, interactive activities and classroom routines.
• Monitor and assess student progress and give support tailored to individual needs.
• Promote students' participation, confidence and positive social interaction.
• Prepare teaching materials, classroom resources and learning activities.
• Collaborate with the French Teacher and the wider teaching team.
• Support classroom management and supervise students throughout the day.
• Take part in school events and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, French or a related field preferred.
• Very good spoken and written French.
• Previous experience as a Co-Teacher, Teaching Assistant or in a school setting preferred.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic and able to work well with children; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
