French Teacher

About the role

SABIS, a global education network, is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join its team. The successful candidate will deliver French language instruction using SABIS curriculum materials and support students in achieving academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Teach French classes using provided lesson plans and develop plans when required.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Proctor exams and ensure proper test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as substitute teaching, organizing student logistics, and supporting school events.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and delivering results.
• Excellent communication skills.
