Front Desk Associate

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a Front Desk Associate for its Cairo property. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in experience and delivering high‑quality service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, verify identification and issue room keys.
• Manage reservations, process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
• Answer multi‑line phone calls, respond to inquiries and provide information on hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Resolve guest issues promptly while adhering to Marriott brand standards, safety and security protocols.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous front‑desk coverage.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages are advantageous.
• Previous front‑desk, hospitality or guest‑facing experience preferred, especially with international hotel brands.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cairo with flexible scheduling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation system software.
• Experience using multi‑line phone systems.
• Competence in email and basic office software such as Microsoft Office.
