Front Office Shift Leader

About the role

We are looking for a well‑groomed, friendly Front Office Shift Leader to be the welcoming face of our historic luxury hotel in Alexandria. The successful candidate will oversee the front‑desk team during their shift, ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, and deliver a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle reservations received via phone, email or online platforms.
• Verify payment methods and process transactions at check‑in.
• Assign rooms, promote hotel offers and coordinate transportation requests.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, policies and local attractions.
• Support conferences and events by preparing venues and meeting guest needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional language such as French is a plus.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous hospitality experience is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
