Frontend Developer – JavaScript (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong JavaScript expertise to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise frontend components using JavaScript, React, and related libraries.
• Build and maintain backend services with Node.js and Express for RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems.
• Write clean, modular, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.

Required profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React.
• Background in Node.js and Express for API development.
• Familiarity with state‑management solutions like Redux or Context API.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
