General Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

We are a growing medical‑sector company seeking a dedicated General Accountant to join our Finance Department in Qalyub. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting activities and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Perform bank entries and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing related journal entries.
• Prepare payment vouchers and associated entries.
• Review monthly payroll and create payroll journal entries.
• Calculate shipment costs and record related expenses.
• Monitor inventory levels and post daily inventory entries.
• Review and verify invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in general accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software, specifically the Al‑Ameen program.
• Ability to work with standard accounting tools and perform reconciliations.
