General Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to join our finance team in New Cairo. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
- Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close activities.
- Monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting, and support financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Work with the Odoo ERP system to maintain accurate financial data.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of proven experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong passion for developing people and organizations.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP system.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
