General Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations. The role involves managing petty cash, vendor accounts, and employee commissions while ensuring accurate financial records and smooth processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor petty cash (custody accounts), record and reconcile transactions.
• Perform regular cash counts, settle advances and expense reimbursements.
• Calculate and prepare employee commissions accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and vendor accounts.
• Review, process, and approve invoices with proper documentation.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain financial data and clarifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and organizational abilities.
