Group Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Group Chief Financial Officer will join the executive team of an international holding group based in Cairo. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board, you will steer the financial strategy across multiple subsidiaries and support the company’s global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s overall financial strategy.
• Lead Corporate Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Audit, Compliance and Financial Reporting functions.
• Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, investment decisions and capital allocation.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow and working‑capital management for all entities.
• Manage banking relationships, funding arrangements and liquidity.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks and risk‑management processes.
• Mentor and develop the Group finance leadership team.
• Support international operations and drive performance across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Group CFO, CFO or Group Finance Director in a holding or diversified organization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑entity finance operations.
• Strong commercial and strategic leadership with board‑level presentation experience.
• Deep understanding of governance, compliance and risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA or CMA is highly desirable.
