Financial Accountant – Agricultural Company

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities for La Poire, an agricultural company operating in Maadi, Cairo. The role involves maintaining accurate records, supporting cash flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily journal entries, review invoices, and perform bank and petty‑cash reconciliations.
• Monitor customer receivables and supplier payments to safeguard cash flow.
• Reconcile warehouse financial accounts for fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and spare parts, and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Prepare monthly trial balances, financial statements, expense reports, and provide data for auditors and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting major) or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in agricultural, industrial or multi‑branch contracting environments.
• High accuracy, integrity, strong attention to detail and effective communication within a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with integrated ERP accounting systems.
• Strong computer application skills.
