Guest Experience Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Experience Supervisor ensures smooth and welcoming check‑in experiences for hotel guests while supporting the front‑desk team in daily operations. This full‑time position is based at Marriott’s property on Saray El Gezira Street in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards data and ensure rates match market codes.
• Secure payments, adjust billing as needed, and handle all payment types, vouchers and paid‑outs.
• Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and maintain contingency lists.
• Provide guests with directions, property information and fulfill special requests by coordinating with appropriate staff.
• Balance and drop receipts, count and secure the bank at shift start and end, and obtain manual authorizations.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports.
• Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling and coaching front‑desk employees.
• Maintain safety standards, report accidents, complete required safety training and uphold confidentiality of company information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
