Head of ICT - Coding and Robotics

About the role

Westview International Language School is looking for a Head of ICT for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The role leads and inspires students in coding and robotics, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills and technological literacy. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging coding and robotics lessons aligned with the curriculum and school objectives.
• Use hands-on learning and project-based approaches to encourage student participation.
• Integrate current technologies and robotics platforms into student learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Organize and supervise robotics clubs, competitions and related extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects combining coding and robotics.
• Keep up to date with advances in coding, robotics and educational technology.
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment that nurtures curiosity and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education Technology or a related field.
• Teaching experience in coding, robotics or related STEM subjects, preferably in an international school.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students in STEM disciplines.
• Commitment to collaboration and innovation, and willingness to pursue professional development.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with robotics kits and coding languages.
• Proficiency with educational technology tools.
