Head of Shared Service Center

About the role

CODE81, part of the Technology Cluster of Ghobash Group, is looking for a Head of Shared Service Center in Cairo. The role leads project delivery and execution, coordinates Egypt operations and acts as the senior on-ground point for the Egypt office, while building strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project execution against scope, timelines, quality and business objectives, coordinating with project, technical and business teams and resolving risks and escalations.
• Coordinate Egypt operations across Delivery, HR, Finance, Administration, IT and other teams, and align Egypt teams with their functional leadership in Dubai.
• Build working relationships with senior stakeholders in Delivery, Technology, Sales, HR, Finance and Corporate Functions, and act as a key escalation point for local issues.
• Provide operational leadership to Egypt-based teams, support workforce and resource planning, and promote a collaborative, high-performance environment.
• Ensure adherence to delivery governance and operational standards, monitor risks, and set up operational reporting on key delivery and site matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including significant project/program delivery and operational management.
• Proven experience managing complex projects, cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in a technology, software, IT services or digital transformation environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with geographically distributed teams and regional/global organizations.
• Senior management or leadership experience with delivery execution and/or operations.
