Head of Technology

About the role

Linah Farms is looking for a Head of Technology to shape and execute the company’s technology vision. The role will lead digital transformation, oversee IT operations, and build a high‑performing technology team that supports farming, supply‑chain and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise‑wide IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals.
• Develop a multi‑year technology roadmap covering infrastructure, applications, data and emerging digital initiatives.
• Manage the annual IT budget, capital and operational expenditures.
• Establish governance, security, data‑management and vendor policies.
• Lead digital projects across farming operations, supply chain, finance, HR and sales, introducing IoT, mobile apps and analytics.
• Oversee helpdesk services, set SLAs/KPIs and ensure reliable network, cloud and hardware availability.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture, data protection and business continuity plans.
• Direct in‑house or outsourced software development, applying Agile/Scrum practices.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in technology management (approximately 10 years or more).
• Track record of delivering large‑scale digital transformation in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to advise executive teams on technology investments.
