Health Information Officer

About the role

The Health Information Officer will lead the health information system for SCI MENAEE’s health programme in Cairo, Maadi. The role ensures accurate collection, analysis and reporting of medical data to support monitoring, evaluation and decision‑making across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain reporting formats, line‑lists, databases and dashboards that meet donor monitoring and evaluation requirements.
• Collect, verify, enter and analyse health outcomes, medical interventions and cost‑benefit data, producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Store all project data, databases and reports securely on the SCI SharePoint platform.
• Assist the health team in correcting data errors and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Collaborate with the MEAL and Accountability teams to document lessons learned, organise workshops and maintain feedback mechanisms for beneficiaries.
• Support quality benchmarking, provider assessments and respond to data deviations as required.
• Adapt working hours and responsibilities during major humanitarian emergencies.

Required profile

• Experience in health data management, monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work with children and young people in line with Level 3 child safeguarding requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work under pressure and adjust to emergency situations.
