Healthcare Nutrition Specialist - Maadi & Helwan

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to be based in Cairo, covering the Maadi and Helwan areas. The role focuses on promoting Danone’s Specialized Nutrition (SN) portfolio to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and strengthening scientific relationships to increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics and private practices to present SN products and scientific evidence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs, KOLs and decision‑makers, ensuring they receive accurate product information and clinical studies.
• Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activity and propose actions to protect market position.
• Organise and deliver scientific audio‑visual meetings, seminars and nutrition education events.
• Manage daily database, handle queries/complaints and submit promotional activity reports.
• Achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.
• Participate in team meetings, share market insights and contribute to business planning.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with the ability to discuss nutrition solutions confidently.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with HCPs.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and able to work independently in the field.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail for reporting and compliance.
