About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by ensuring cleanliness and readiness of linen, dining ware, and kitchen areas. This full‑time, non‑management position works across multiple departments to keep the guest experience seamless.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain areas in the kitchen, food & beverage outlets, and laundry.
• Prepare fresh linen and spotless dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dish‑washing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and reach overhead or below the knees as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style at all times.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior work experience necessary.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lb.
• Capability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, and stooping.
• Commitment to safety, company policies, and professional conduct.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Required skills
