Homeroom Teacher – Grade 1 (Primary)

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a passionate Homeroom Teacher for Grade 1 to join one of its reputable schools. You will create a nurturing classroom where young learners can thrive academically and personally.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for Grade 1 students.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance curriculum and overall educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support home‑school partnership.
• Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification/licensure for primary education.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with early primary grades.
• Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate pedagogy.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage parents effectively.
