Homeroom Teacher (Lower Primary) – August 2026

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is recruiting a Homeroom Teacher for Lower Primary students at Prime National Schools - Scholars International Language School, based in 6th of October City. The school is looking for a passionate educator who will foster a love of learning and create a supportive, stimulating classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans for Lower Primary students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials to individual needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, collaboration and creativity.
• Build strong communication and relationships with parents and guardians to support student success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and share best practices.
• Take part in ongoing professional development and stay up to date with teaching trends.
• Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and resilience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g. QTS or PGCE) relevant to primary education.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching in a lower primary setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years educational practices.
• Dedication to an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students and engage them in learning.
