Hotel Manager - Alexandria

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced and visionary Hotel Manager to lead its operations in Alexandria, Egypt. The role sits within the executive leadership team and covers all aspects of hotel operations, from front office and housekeeping to food and beverage and culinary, with the aim of driving operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Culinary, coordinating service delivery
• Work with the General Manager and executive team to turn strategy into operational goals and measurable outcomes
• Set up department policies, standard operating procedures and service standards aligned with brand and local regulatory requirements
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage the performance of operational staff, and coach department heads
• Monitor staffing, productivity and KPIs, and prepare and manage operational budgets and expenses
• Analyse guest feedback, quality metrics and audit results to drive improvements
• Act as General Manager in their absence, uphold health, safety and accident prevention, and build relationships with guests, staff and stakeholders

Required profile

• At least 10 years of progressive hotel operations leadership, preferably in upscale or luxury settings
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Hotel Manager, Director of Operations or Director of Rooms
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of Egyptian hospitality regulations and compliance standards (preferred)
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays as required
