Hotel Recreation Manager

About the role

The Hotel Recreation Manager will lead all leisure, fitness, pool, beach, kids' club and entertainment activities at our Sahl Hasheesh resort. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that guests enjoy safe, clean, and well‑organized recreational facilities in line with Red Sea Hotels' high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of pools, beach areas, fitness centre, kids' club and entertainment venues, guaranteeing readiness and safety for guests.
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise recreation staff, animators and external vendors, assigning duties and monitoring performance.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, resolve issues, and document outcomes to maintain satisfaction.
• Conduct regular training on safety protocols, equipment use and hotel management system procedures.
• Manage department budgeting, inventory control and equipment purchases.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar recreation management role within a hotel or resort.
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
