HR Director / Head – Manufacturing

About the role

FlexFilms Egypt is seeking an experienced HR Director/Head to lead the human resources function for its manufacturing operations. The role will shape HR strategy, drive talent initiatives, and partner closely with plant and operations teams to support business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with manufacturing objectives.
• Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, talent management, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Plant/Operations on productivity, discipline, and employee relations.
• Drive performance management, KPI culture, employee engagement and retention.
• Lead leadership development and capability‑building programs.
• Manage compensation, benefits, HR budgeting and workforce cost control.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements and internal HR policies.
• Implement HR analytics, digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a high‑performance, employee‑focused culture.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
• 20+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership, employee‑relations and business‑partnering abilities.

Required skills

• Extensive experience in plant HR, manpower planning and recruitment.
• Expertise in performance management, talent development and succession planning.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance and HR policies.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience with HR analytics, budgeting and digital HR solutions.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and plant operations.
