HR Managed Services Senior Associate (HR Generalist/HCBL)

About the role

PwC's HR Managed Services team supports its clients' HR operations, covering the employee lifecycle, payroll and benefits administration, leave management, compliance with labour laws and employee records. The Senior Associate position is based at PwC ETIC, the new Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo, which is expanding rapidly and needs enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the transition of HR processes from the client to the PwC team and learn the required workflows and technologies.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, archive documents and set up organised digital file storage.
• Handle HR helpdesk queries on policies, benefits and payroll, and support onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility and exit interviews.
• Maintain records of grievances and investigations, and support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage leave balances and accruals, report leave trends and ensure leave is reflected correctly in payroll.
• Prepare HR reports, communicate HR policies and work within SLAs with the payroll, benefits and talent acquisition teams.
• Propose process improvements and implement best practices and new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a HR-related field, business management or administration, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience for an Associate, 4-6 years for a Senior Associate.
• Preferred: experience with a diverse portfolio of people, process and technology at a leading firm, preferably in the Middle East or GCC.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HRMS systems such as SAP/SuccessFactors, Workday or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail.
