HSE Officer – Petroleum Services (3-5 yrs experience)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HSE Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of our Health, Safety and Environmental Management System across operational sites in Egypt. The role is site‑based, working on a 3‑week on / 1‑week off rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine HSE inspections across workshops and operational sites.
• Monitor compliance with company HSE policies, ISO 45001 requirements and client safety procedures.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness sessions.
• Oversee Permit to Work (PTW) implementation and safe work practices.
• Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses and hazard identification.
• Report, investigate and follow up on incidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions.
• Monitor PPE compliance and promote safe behaviours.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports and regulatory documentation.
• Support emergency response drills and HSE audits.
• Collaborate with Operations, QA/QC and Maintenance teams to improve workplace safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas, industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience in workshop operations or oilfield services is preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC and/or IOSH certification preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to travel between company locations and operational sites.
