HSE Officer - Sites

About the role

The HSE Officer will ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met on site, conducting inspections and supporting safe execution of high‑risk activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe execution of high‑risk activities.
• Check work permits for hot work, work at height, excavation, lifting and confined spaces.
• Deliver toolbox talks and HSE inductions.
• Report, investigate and follow up on accidents, incidents and near‑misses.
• Maintain daily HSE reports, inspection checklists and safety records.
• Participate in emergency drills, site safety audits and coordinate with subcontractors to resolve safety issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of HSE experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• HSE certification such as OSHA or IOSH.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, PPE, work permits and incident investigation.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
