HSE Section Head – Manufacturing (Giza)

About the role

Joy Glass is seeking an experienced HSE Section Head to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives within its manufacturing plant in Giza. The role offers the chance to shape safety culture, drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and supervision for all HSE activities, ensuring alignment with company policies and best practices.
• Lead incident data analysis, conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee the Quality Assurance framework with a focus on ISO documentation and compliance.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing HSE team through daily supervision, training programs and agency inductions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all organizational levels.
• Drive environmental initiatives and ensure sustainable practices.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of progressive experience in HSE management within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of leading teams, managing incidents and delivering continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
