Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will strategically support workforce growth and stabilization for Coptic Orphans Egypt, bridging Western and Egyptian work cultures. Reporting to the headquarters HR team, the role drives employee engagement, compliance, and professional ethics across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Egyptian employment and tax legislation, advising management on necessary actions.
• Maintain accurate payroll processes, resolve discrepancies, and provide regular payroll metrics.
• Support recruitment, promotion, position analysis, and talent matching in collaboration with HQ HR.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and trust‑building initiatives.
• Identify and recommend improvements to organizational culture and workplace safety.
• Design and propose training, development, and incentive programs to boost engagement and retention.
• Provide objective advice to HQ HR and senior management on issues affecting employee efficiency.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of both Western and Egyptian work ethics and cultural sensitivities.
• Proven experience in implementing HR policies, compliance, and payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of local labor and tax regulations.
• Ability to coach, counsel, and communicate expectations clearly.
• Demonstrated skill in conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment.
