About the role
The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, split units, exhaust fans, compressors, and related components.
- Inspect system parts such as motors, belts, fans, filters, refrigerant levels, thermostats, and ductwork.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Monitor and adjust system settings to maintain proper operation and energy efficiency.
- Record maintenance activities, test results, and repair logs, and respond to emergency breakdowns promptly.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Good technical experience with HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in repairing and maintaining HVAC systems and air compressors.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
