Indirect Buyer

About the role

The Indirect Buyer is responsible for managing the full procurement cycle for indirect materials and services across the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate suppliers, and ensure cost‑effective, compliant purchasing while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requests for categories such as equipment, tools, office furniture, uniforms, stationery, outsourced services, transportation, security, IT, consumables, and safety items.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure PR accuracy.
• Execute the purchasing cycle in line with company policies, preparing comparison sheets and presenting offers to management.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders in SAP, verifying supplier details, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain supplier performance, resolve issues, and coordinate with Finance for timely payments.
• Conduct market research, expand the vendor base, and negotiate to achieve best pricing, quality, and service.
• Support inventory strategies based on demand, lead times, and operational needs.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to reduce procurement costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP procurement modules.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
