Industrial Electrical Engineer

About the role

Burjline Builders is looking for a skilled and experienced industrial electrical engineer to join its team in Alexandria, Egypt. This is a full-time position. The company offers construction services covering residential, commercial and industrial projects, project management, design and planning, and renovation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical systems, control panels and production machinery to minimise downtime.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and fix complex electrical faults in PLCs, motors, drives and other automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals to carry out installations and repairs.
• Ensure all electrical work meets company and industry health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as an electrical engineer in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of experience; textile industry experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors and industrial control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
