Senior Quality Manager – Consumer Produce/Packaged Goods

About the role

Sutherland is hiring a Senior Quality Manager for its Consumer Produce/Packaged Goods vertical, based in Alexandria. The role leads quality management systems, mentors a team of quality analysts and drives process improvement, data analysis and risk management across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems, policies and procedures aligned with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Analysts and other quality professionals, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
• Identify, prioritise and lead process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean or similar methods, and work with operations and customer service to streamline workflows.
• Monitor and evaluate improvements, define and track KPIs, analyse quality data and audit findings, and report actionable insights to senior management.
• Review market trends against client objectives and recommend ways forward to business stakeholders.
• Support or lead automation and digital projects that improve reporting, monitoring and risk awareness.
• Proactively identify quality and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Act as a liaison between business units, leadership and external partners on quality objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years in quality assurance, process improvement or a related discipline, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Mandatory: at least 3 years of direct experience in customer service or consumer support, delivering white-glove service with high levels of documented accuracy.
• Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean) and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
• Experience managing audits, compliance and corrective action plans.
• Must be based in Alexandria and able to work flexible hours, including until 11:00 PM for collaboration with other time zones.
