Infrastructure Engineer – Information Systems

About the role

Valeo is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to implement and support network infrastructure and provide Level‑3 support within the MARS project. The role involves managing physical servers, data‑center issues, and ensuring the reliability of the company's IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Lenovo physical servers and local data‑center equipment.
• Create and administer policies and permissions on Windows file servers.
• Provide Level‑3 support to the operations team and define KPIs for network analysis.
• Administer Microsoft and Linux systems, including Hyper‑V and Proxmox hypervisors (VMware is a plus).
• Execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans according to group standards.
• Administer Lenovo and SAN storage solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure devices using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Handle procurement and supplier support for MARS infrastructure devices.
• Document all IS infrastructure components and procedures.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Communications, Electronics or related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an agile environment.
• Mandatory certifications: MCSE, RHCSA (RHCE preferred), CCNA (CCNP preferred).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
