Inventory Analyst

About the role

The Inventory Analyst will work onsite at the General Motors office, ensuring that material and product stock levels are optimal to support production and supply chain operations. This role involves analysing inventory data, identifying gaps, and collaborating with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to improve accuracy and reduce excess or shortage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual physical inventory plan.
• Perform inventory analysis to identify shortages, overstock, root causes and corrective actions.
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory variances.
• Lead run‑out activities and manage obsolete or slow‑moving material.
• Analyse internal process gaps, propose improvements and communicate with stakeholders.
• Prepare quarterly inventory and obsolescence management reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, material planning or supply chain analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and time‑management abilities.
