Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Control Specialist will oversee the flow of products in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. This role supports the sales, purchasing, and logistics teams to keep inventory aligned with business demand. You will work on‑site in Maadi, Cairo, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Track inbound and outbound inventory to monitor flow and stock levels.
• Reconcile physical counts with system counts to maintain accuracy.
• Set optimal reorder points based on usage rates, vendor lead times, and seasonal demand.
• Generate and interpret sales and inventory reports to forecast needs.
• Reorder stock according to periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) levels or company requests.
• Develop and apply industry‑standard inventory control methods.
• Communicate with employees and vendors to answer queries and facilitate purchases.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, purchasing, and logistics to align inventory with operational requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
• Knowledge of inventory management software such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
